What you want
Coaching is firstly about helping you to clarify what you want….not always as easy as it sounds! We become so accustomed to listening to the cacophony of voices in our heads telling us what we ‘should’ do, ‘should’ want, ‘should’ become …that we can’t discern the little voice that is truly ours.
Helping you to get clear about who you want to become and what results you want to achieve in order to fulfil your potential is our starting point.
You & Me
For coaching to be effective there needs to be a strong foundation of trust and a commitment to working together as partners in your journey towards your goal(s). To ensure that we are a good FIT for each other, I offer a complementary consultation session where you get a sense of me and how I work and where we discuss practical issues of pricing, scheduling etc.
Where?
Coaching takes place in the Coaching Center on Pearse Rd Sligo. We can work face to face, via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype or occasionally by telephone.
When?
Coaching is about change. Coaching is also about learning. In my experience, neither of these happen overnight. Typically, therefore, coaching programmes last for a minimum of 4 sessions.
Coaching programmes are customised to your needs. Sessions are generally spaced to allow time for reflection and for you to take action (a critical component in any change process). Typically therefore sessions may take place every 3 – 4 weeks. We will agree what best suits you and your commitments.
How?
A Coaching programme frequently begins with the Harrison behavioural assessment designed to identify your strengths, values and motivators.
Thereafter I use my Coaching skills, expertise and intuition and a variety of tools and techniques to ensure you achieve your goals. Between sessions you take the necessary action to try out new skills and behaviours. You must be ‘coachable’ in order for Coaching to work.
ie. You must be willing to do the work…
Result
We will continuously focus on the results you want for yourself and your life.
While life may conspire to distract you and offer new shiny possibilities that will tempt you off course, I will gently return your attention to the results you want.
